My Machine: Belgium

Since we are on the topic of social communication trends I figured I would share a project that is currently taking place in Belgium. My Machine began with the purpose of stimulating creativity and the interaction between multi-generational creative minds.

Its goal is to serve as an online educational tool promoting the design process method: where everything begins with the spark of an idea then becomes synthesized into a design and finally becomes reality within the construction of the machine. The aim is to get children from an early age to think outside the box. It also moves between generations of innovators: from school children into the hands of University and College students and then onto the technical expertise of professionals and companies. It begins with an idea thought up by school children and then if it is picked up it travels down the creative pipeline to college and university students and finally into the hands of manufacturers.
